Having worked on Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes and Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order in the past, Star Wars Squadrons wasn’t my first time partnering with our amazing friends at Lucasfilm.
With Squadrons, the challenge presented to my team was to build a visual identity that would honor the pilot fantasy within this rich universe.
We delivered on time, on budget, and on brief by building a design system that was a departure from the usual Star Wars motifs, leaning into a painterly aesthetic and the light and dark duality.
Two sides of the same coin, each with their own motivations and goals.
